Spicy And Tangy Curry Simmer Sauce
Better known as VINDALOO, Portuguese for "Wine/Vinegar and Garlic." Introduced by Portuguese explorers in the 16th century, it gradually got the Indian treatment with the addition of chilies, coconut, tamarind and aromatic spices. Today, this is one of the most popular Indian dishes all over the world. Goes well with all kinds of meats, seafood and vegetables.
Directions Cooking Instructions: Heat 1 Tbsp of oil on high. Saute 1 lb to 1.5 lbs of meat or veggies (cut into bite-size pieces) 'till done. Pour over the contents of jar and mix well. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Enjoy with rice, pita bread or tortillas.
